The Cluster visited Barcelona and SIL Exhibition
The Cluster for Logistics and the Maritime Cluster participated to a mission in Barcelona from June 9th to 11th, organised by the Embassy in Barcelona, the Consulate and the Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Foro Economique Hispano-Luxembourgeois (FEHL), FERRMED, Barcelona - Catalunya Centre Logístic and Foment del Treball Nacional. This mission aimed to find new opportunities and enable more cooperation in regard of the Luxembourg-Barcelona corridor.
The participating companies from Luxembourg were: Tansalliance, CFL multimodal, Cargolux, European Relocation Services and Jost. A workshop with selected guests discussed developments and new opportunities for logistics in the Iberian Peninsula.
The mission included a visit of the "Salon international de la Logistica" SIL and a visit of the freight port of Barcelona. The International Logistics and Maintenance Fair has been consolidated as the benchmark fair for Spain and all of southern Europe in the logistics sector. It was therefore an essential event for all professionals in this sector who were able to discover the latest trends in the Fira de Barcelona Montjuic Trade Fair Complex.
