Innovation and sustainable products are a way to differentiate yourself from the competition. The company Kronospan, with an important subsidiary in Luxembourg, is a wood processing ccompany that opens its doors for a professional audience from Luxembourg and Germany.
The Cluster invites its members to visit the company Kronospan in the framework of the Bundesvereinigung Logistik (BVL) network. Next to an interesting company visit, this meeting will assemble professionals from Luxembourg and Germany and allow for networking between managers from logistics companies and shippers.

Who is Kronospan?
With more than 40 production sites globally and over 14.000 employees Kronospan is today the biggest wood panel producer world-wide. Nr 1 In particle boards, Medium Density Fiberboards, Laminate Flooring and Resins and Nr. 2 for OSB.
The Luxembourgish production unit at Sanem is an independent S.A. of the Kronospan group producing MDF, OSB and Laminate flooring with 260 people.
Outbound is about 400 K.Tons, Inbound about 750 K.Tons.
Main markets for the Luxembourgish site are France, Germany, Benelux, Iberia and Exports. Logistic starts from pellet delivery up to full vessel loads.
Customers are DIY; traders, Importers and Industry with all their different logistic needs. We see logistic as one of our core business.
