Dudelange - Arthur Welter Logistics inaugurated the largest photovoltaic system installed on a roof on October 15th 2020 with Minister of Energy Claude Turmes Ministère de l'Énergie et de l'Aménagement du Territoire, CEOs Marianne Welter and Viviane Welter as well as Enovos representatives Anouk Hilger (Head of Renewable Energies) and Erik von Scholz (CEO). The installation was set up by Enovos on the roof of the former's new storage hall located at the Euro-Hub Sud in Dudelange. 

In their efforts to contribute to achieving the national energy objectives targeting 25% renewable energies by 2025, representatives of Arthur Welter Logistics and Enovos inaugurated their joint photovoltaic installation. The inauguration took place in the presence of Claude Turmes, Luxembourg's Minister of Energy and Spatial Planning.

With a power of 2.68 MWp, the installation of 8,510 panels will produce 2.55 GWh and will be able to supply 567 homes with energy. To date, this is the largest roof-mounted installation installed by Enovos.

Marianne Welter, CEO of Arthur Welter Group: "As in Leudelange, we wanted to go further and produce our own green energy and the roof of our new storage hall, by its size, was absolutely suitable".

Arthur Welter takes part in the C4L LEAN & GREEN Programme to reduce CO2 emissions in logistics activities.
