Head of Cluster for Logistics (M/F)
The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg Asbl is a network of about 100 company members, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Based upon 4 pillars of activities the Cluster promotes logistics services and sustainable infrastructure from Luxembourg as attractive hub in the Centre of Europe. It organises events that help to develop the Luxembourg Logistics Hub. The mission is to support the diversification of the economy by creating value. Together with stakeholders it focuses on digitization and sustainable logistics while working on other challenges and opportunities. It is supported by the Ministry of Mobility and Public works, the Ministry of Economy, Luxinnovation as well as the Ministry of Education to support the logistics sector in Luxembourg. It organises events to develop the Luxembourg Logistics Hub and works with stakeholders on challenges and opportunities. With dynamic local and international members, Luxembourg positioned itself in the top 10 international logistics locations in Europe. YOUR MISSION
- Manage the Cluster for Logistics in line with the strategy defined together with the board of directors
- Create an open, trusted and collaborative environment to develop a portfolio of initiatives and projects
- Implement the business strategy and manage a dedicated team to meet members expectations
- Initiate projects raising the competitiveness of the logistics sector across all modes of transport
- Promote logistics services, sustainable infrastructure and competent back-offices from an attractive hub
- Be well connected to initiate synergies between member companies and public stakeholders
- Identify and develop Innovation opportunities between the various actors of the Cluster
- Represent the Cluster in Luxembourg and abroad across the industry and supply chain sector
YOUR PROFILE
You should hold a Master’s Degree, preferably in Logistics Management, Engineering, Economics and/or a proven experience / knowledge of the supply chain industry in general. You have between 7 -15 years professional experience in business roles as well as a deep knowledge of the socio-economic environment in Luxembourg. Professional experience in the fields of logistics, industry, market development and innovation are considered an advantage.
You are results oriented, have administrative skills to drive the Cluster and an ability to listen to the members and to propose solutions to problems. You have the ability to negotiate at a high level.
As a proven team player, you have excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and are fluent in English, French and German. A good command of Luxembourgish is also an advantage.
