THE CLUSTER FOR LOGISTICS LUXEMBOURG ASBL IS RECRUITING A

Cluster Manager (M/F)

YOUR MISSION

- Manage, coordinate and drive the development of the Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg asbl
- Implement the guidelines and actions approved by the Management Board of the Cluster
- Contribute to raise the competitiveness of the Logistics sector in Luxembourg with the aim of making it more attractive and renowned as international hub
- Reinforce the synergies between private partners, companies and stakeholders from the public sector within the Cluster
- Identify and develop collaborative Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) opportunities between the various actors of the Cluster
- Represent the Cluster in Luxembourg and abroad
- Coordinate relationships with similar Clusters from the Greater Region and beyond

YOUR PROFILE

You should hold a Master’s Degree, preferably in Logistics Management, Law, Economics or Engineering and possess a good knowledge of the logistics industry in general. You will have at least 5 years professional experience in a similar coordination role and knowledge of the socio-economic environment in Luxembourg is considered an advantage. Professional experience in the fields of logistics research, development and innovation (RDI) is also considered an advantage. You will be results oriented with the necessary know how to drive the Cluster, as well as the ability to listen and to propose solutions to problems. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to negotiate at a high level

A proven team player, you will have excellent communication skills (spoken and written) and will be fluent in English and French or German. A good command of Luxembourgish is also an advantage.

The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg asbl was founded in March 2009 to strengthen and promote Luxembourg as a logistics platform in Europe for major intercontinental services and high value-added logistics. The Cluster is open to all interested stakeholders to share information and best practice. The seven founding members are the Centre de Recherche Public Henri Tudor, the Chamber of Commerce, the clc, the Maritime Cluster Luxembourg, the Fedil - Business Federation Luxembourg,  Luxinnovation and the University of Luxembourg. Today the Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg gathers some 100 members from private companies and public organizations (www.clusterforlogistics.lu).
