On Tuesday 10th October 2023, the Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg, Hamlet Consulting & Wakeo invited to a seminar at the Chamber of Commerce, entitled "Supply Chain Optimization: Leveraging Data Science to Improve Strategies".

Daniel Kohl, new Director of the Cluster for Logistics, welcomed the participants and opened the seminar.

Florian Grova, Senior Manager of Hamlet Consulting Luxembourg, elaborated on the definition of data science and interesting use cases for supply chain optimization: "AI will enable new supply chain strategies definition."

Next up, David Watson, Sales Director Benelux of Wakeo gave a pragmatic view on the added value of real-time visibility solutions. His presentation was followed by a demo to get a touch and feel of data-science for supply chain decision-making.

An interactive roundtable moderated by Malik Zeniti, Director of the Cluster for Logistics, followed the presentations. Nils Löhndorf, from the Luxembourg Center for Logistics and Supply chain Management and Daniel Kohl joined the roundtable next to Florian Grova and David Watson. The panelists notably discussed about how AI does not simply remain a buzzword in the supply chain world.
