The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg met at the Streff site in Windhof for an inspiring session dedicated to Lean & Green, sustainability, and the evolving landscape of logistics.

The visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on how the sector can accelerate its transition toward more efficient and environmentally responsible operations. Together, we explored:

Lean & Green Progress

– How companies can reduce CO₂ emissions through smarter processes, optimized transport flows, and collaborative initiatives.

– Practical examples of how Lean & Green principles are already being implemented at Streff to drive measurable impact.

As a family‑owned Luxembourg company with a long history in international moving, storage, archiving, digitalization as well as last mile services, Streff has integrated sustainability into daily operations - ranging from fleet optimization, including the introduction of fully electric vehicles into their daily operations, circular approaches for materials as well as making use of a 700 kWp solar panel system.

Innovation in Logistics

– Digital tools and data‑driven decision‑making that enhance transparency and efficiency.

– The role of modern infrastructure in shaping tomorrow’s logistics ecosystem.

Looking Ahead

The discussions highlighted a shared ambition: building a logistics sector that is more sustainable, more resilient, and more innovative. Future developments will focus on:

– Strengthening cross‑industry collaboration

– Scaling green mobility solutions

– Continuing to invest in technologies that reduce environmental impact

– Preparing for upcoming regulatory and market shifts

We thank Streff and all participants for their engagement and forward‑thinking contributions. Together, we are shaping a greener and smarter future for logistics in Luxembourg and beyond.
