Support Initiatives
Funding Opportunities for Members
Lean & Green participants can benefit from several national support schemes:
Enoprimes – energy efficiency incentives
Fit 4 Sustainability – consultancy and implementation support
SME Packages – support for small and medium enterprises
Other EU programs depending on project type
We help you identify and apply for relevant funding.
Enoprimes
Multiple energy-saving actions for Lean & Green targets are supported. Top 3 projects: Modal shift, Truck fleet renewal, Electric vehicles.
SME Package - Sustainability
Individual assistance to identify practical solutions for reducing environmental impact, generating savings by reducing energy/water consumption and improving waste management.
PNM 2035
National mobility plan proposes an overall approach capable of handling 40% more trips than in 2017, implementing Modu 2.0 sustainable mobility strategy.
Fit 4 Sustainability
Co-funding up to 50% for large companies, 60% for medium-sized, and 70% for small companies for investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
Regulatory Alignment
Compliance & Impact
Lean & Green helps companies comply with EU regulations while reducing environmental impact. The program aligns with national and European climate initiatives, ensuring your logistics operations meet current and future standards.
PNEC
The PNEC is the result of a collaborative effort between ministries and administrations, coordinated by the Ministry of Environment, Climate and Biodiversity and the Ministry of Economy.
Scope 3
The program contributes to reducing Scope 3 emissions by helping companies optimize transport flows, improve load factors, adopt low-carbon solutions, and measure emissions via harmonized methodology.
EU Count Emissions
The European Parliament voted on its first-reading position during its April 1 plenary session. Trilogue negotiations with the Council were voted for on December 4, 2024.
Tax Benefits & Transport Support
Carbon Tax Reduction
Lean & Green helps reduce the impact of the carbon tax by lowering fuel consumption through optimized transport flows, improved load factors, reduced mileage, and adoption of energy-efficient transport solutions.
Luxembourg introduced a CO2 tax on fuels starting January 1, 2021, which increases gradually every year.
Rail and Inland Waterway Support
- Law of 23 December 2022 introducing financial support scheme to encourage rail and inland waterway transport
- Grand-Ducal Regulation of 14 September 2018 setting out financial aid measures to promote inland waterway transport
- Financial aid scheme for inland navigation, in force since 1 January 2019
