Launch of New Funding Calls for Zero-Emission Trucks and Charging Infrastructure
Minister Lex Delles has announced the launch of two new funding calls, open from 20 July to 18 September 2026, to accelerate the transition to zero-emission heavy road transport.
- €10 million will be available to support the acquisition of zero-emission trucks (N2 and N3 categories).
- €4 million will be allocated to the deployment of private charging infrastructure for heavy-duty vehicles.
These initiatives build on the success of previous funding calls, which supported 16 charging infrastructure projects and 56 zero-emission trucks, highlighting the strong commitment of the transport, logistics, and industrial sectors to decarbonization.
Additional funding programs for public charging infrastructure and the broader expansion of Luxembourg’s charging network are also planned for late 2026 and early 2027.
