Building on the momentum of the Cluster for Logistics' 15th anniversary in 2024, which focused on Leadership: The Past, Present, and Future, the dynamic continues in 2025.

However, the logistics sector is under pressure. Geopolitical tensions, driver shortage and aging and increasing deficits are just some of the issues that are impacting the supply chain companies in Europe.

The industry and supply chain also face challenging times ahead, remaining in "Wait and See" and "Just in Case" (JIC) mode.

This is driven by rising energy costs, increasing customer demands for digitalization and sustainability, significant infrastructure investments, and a shortage of talents.

In response, the Cluster for Logistics convened its "Premium members" to develop a strategic roadmap for 2025-2030 during the Logistics Meeting.

The meeting began with an analysis of the current market situation and reviewed the outcomes of the Strategic Roadmap plan.

This led to an interactive discussion on profitability, cost development analysis, recruitment, competitiveness, and identifying key areas for Luxembourg to focus on to become the European Logistics Hub of Excellence.

The Premium Members feedback was positive, and as a result, additional roadmap sessions will be held to further advance Luxembourg's logistics narrative.
