🌱 Celebrating sustainability in logistics: Lean & Green Awards at the Ministry of Mobility & Public Works!

On 25th November 2025, the Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg - C4L proudly hosted the Lean and Green Luxembourg Award Ceremony at the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works. This initiative highlights the sector’s commitment to reducing CO₂ emissions and driving sustainable transformation.

Max Nilles (LLM) of the Ministère de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics, Lean and Green Project Manager Enza PETRONE and C4L-Director Daniel Kohl welcomed the guests and laureates.

In a highlight of the ceremony, Yuriko Backes - Minister for Mobility and Public Works - took the stage to present the 2025 awards to the outstanding laureates.

👏 TSLux  received the Lean & Green Label Award, marking their entry into the program. Congratulations to CEDRIC NADIN and Stephanie Nadin.

Wallenborn Transports achieved their 1st Lean & Green Star, successfully reducing emissions by 20% within 5 years – a milestone that sets the bar for the industry. Congratulations to Ram Menon and Jennifer Zietek.

These achievements showcase how collaboration, innovation, and determination can accelerate the transition toward greener logistics.

The Cluster for Logistics also extends its gratitude to Nico Anten MSc of Connekt, who joined us from the Netherlands, for his valuable support and his insightful presentation of the new Lean & Green International Association.

Knowledge sharing is a key element of the Cluster’s events, and this edition was no exception. Oliver Rebollo of BigMile provided an insightful overview of the capabilities of their carbon accounting software.

In addition, Marc Dawirs and Jacques Vankeerberghen from TotalEnergies MKG Luxembourg highlighted the advantages of HVO100 fuel.

Finally, auditor Nicolas Rigo of @Dart Consulting shared his perspective on the progress and impact of the Lean & Green project in Luxembourg.

This project would not be possible without the support of the Ministère de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics. The C4L thanks Minister Yuriko Backes and Max Nilles (LLM) for its assistance and the warm welcome at the premises of the ministry.

A networking drink rounded off the event, in keeping with our tradition.

Let’s continue building momentum together – positioning Luxembourg as a leader in sustainable logistics and digital transformation. 🚛🌍
