WAVES is a sustainability management software company, founded in Luxemburg in 2019. In January 2025, WAVES S.à r.l. and the award-winning WAVES® Sustainability Management Platform were acquired by pacemaker.ai, a thyssenkrupp company.

 The WAVES® Sustainability Management Platform (SMP) enables companies with the 360° management of all sustainability-related aspects as well as the precise calculation and presentation of all ESG indicators (Environmental Social Governance) relevant for CSRD reporting.

 The platform is sector independent. However, the modules are particularly designed for supply chain transparency in the following sectors: Transportation, Logistics, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing & Processing, Trade.  

 Services:

The modular SaaS platform currently offers the following solutions:

 1)       Transport Emissions: TÜV-certified calculations of CO2 emission in intermodal transports and logistics, in real-time, down to shipment level. Calculations are made in compliance with ISO 14083 and GLEC v3 and include HUB emissions, too.

 2)       Corporate Carbon Footprint: TÜV-certified calculations of the corporate carbon footprint in Scopes 1-3 in compliance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.

 3)       Product Carbon Footprint: Scalable, AI-based Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) calculations to map all product portfolios.

 4)       CSRD: Create automated CSRD reports. The software guides the user from the materiality analysis to the finished report according to the specifications of the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards).

 5)       EU- Taxonomy: Assess the share of sustainability of the economic activities of your company according to the EU-Taxonomy requirements and as part of the CSRD report.
